Survey and Staking of Wetland Mitigation Areas       

The Spring Lake Community Development District Board of Supervisors approved MRIC Spatial to survey and install permanent wetland stakes to identify the boundaries of the wetland mitigation areas in the District. These stakes will allow vendors to clearly see where the boundaries are for maintenance. We remind residents that you are not allowed to enter the wetland mitigation areas, perform any maintenance, or dump materials in them per SWFWMD and the CDD. 

The vendor will be using CDD property and easements to access various points around the wetland mitigation areas which will put them close to homes at times. We expect the project to start in mid-July and take no longer than a few weeks, subject to weather.
