Park Sod Project Installation Update 6/10/26

At the January 27, 2026, CDD meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved ASI Landscapes to install new sod in the two remaining sections of the park located between Abaco Island Avenue and Spring Point Circle. Once the project is finished, all the sod in the park will have been replaced. Portions of the park will be closed during the installation and for a short period afterward to allow the new sod to establish. Installation dates will be posted on the website as soon as they are finalized.

UPDATE - The concrete and irrigation work required for the sod installation has been completed. We are waiting on updated SWFWMD & Hillsborough County Modified Phase III "Extreme" Water Shortage Restrictions that will be provided by July 1, 2026.
